Advantages of a PREracing Stage 2 tune:

  • Torque gains of over 120ftlb peek over stock mapping with a 130 ft-lb gain at 3600rpm

  • The tuning package includes files for 91oct (ACN), 92oct, and 93oct fuels, as well as a 91+ eco map.
  • Extensively tested on the dyno, the street, and the racetrack.

Fits the 2022 -2025 VB Subaru WRX with the 6spd Manual Transmission.

You will need to provide your Cobb Accessport serial number when ordering. The serial number can be found in the Accessport Manager (e.g., SUB0600000). Accessport can be purchased here

Maps are currently available and supported by PREracing S2 tuning:

  • Stock Intake – Includes Cobb intake and any drop-in panel filter or stock airbox internal modification. 
  • ETS intake – The intake system must have the internal MAF sleeve removed.
  • Perrin Intake – Will work on both the stock turbo inlet and Perrin Turbo Inlet.

Advantages of a PREracing Stage 2+ Octanium tune:

  • Flexibility for a variety of aftermarket parts
  • Horsepower gains of over 100whp above stock tune.
  • Torque gains of over 140 ft-lb above stock tune.
  • Significant performance increase over stock mapping, Cobb “Stage 2” mapping, and PREracing Stage 2 mapping.
  • The tuning package includes only a single 98+oct file
  • Extensively tested on the dyno, the street, and the racetrack.

Required modifications for the PREracing S2+ Octanium 98+oct tune:

  • ETS intake or Perrin intake- The ETS intake system must have the internal MAF sleeve removed.
  • Perrin Turbo Inlet for ETS Intake
  • Any Highflow J-Pipe (ETS available here)
  • Upgraded Intercooler (ETS available here)
  • Full Catback Exhaust (ETS available here)
  • 98+ Octane Fuel. We recommend VP Octanium unleaded fuel additive. Fuel must be mixed properly before any WOT operation!

Other modifications are limited: Highflow catted j-pipe replacement, catback replacement, charge-pipe replacement, header replacement, intercooler replacement, and turbo inlet replacement. Any other performance modifications will require custom tuning. Using this map with modifications outside its intended modification list may result in engine damage or failure.

Map options for Stage 2 maps currently include: Stock intake (Including COBB), ETS intake, and Perrin Turbo Inlet, but check back soon for more options.

Please note that some aftermarket catted J-pipes may not satisfy the factory catalyst monitor logic, and as such, vehicles running this map may be subject to a check engine light after 2 or more drive cycles. The most common code related to catalyst monitoring is the P0420 code but you may also see P2096, P2098, and others related to the rear O2 sensor. Codes cannot be fixed via tune processes and will require mechanical changes to satisfy the vehicles onboard readiness monitor system. Codes can be scanned and cleared via the Cobb Accessport device. On the Subaru platform, a DTC will cause all other malfunction lights on the dash to illuminate such as ABS, TCS, and Cruise Control but does not indicate an actual problem in these systems.
