Description
Late 19th century men’s metal sleeve garter used to adjust shirt cuffs to the proper wrist length prior to standardized sleeve sizing. Popular with office workers, bartenders, and professionals in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Stamped “The Tip” on the clamp and “Pat Applied For” on the reverse. Measures 2.75 inches. Estimated date of manufacture: circa 1900-1920. Fair vintage condition.
